Natural Habitat

Found in wide range of habitats including woodlands, grasslands, gardens, and frequently inside homes or on man-made structures.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivorous; feeds on ground-dwelling insects like crickets, ants, and other spiders. They are active hunters that do not use webs to catch prey.

Behavior Patterns

Solitary and nocturnal hunters with excellent eyesight. Females are known for carrying their egg sacs attached to their spinnerets and later carrying hatchlings on their backs.
