Natural Habitat
Commonly found in lush lawns, on sun-exposed walls, and potentially inside homes near windows.
Diet & Feeding
Feed on various grasses, clover, and other plants by sucking sap from leaves.
Behavior Patterns
Active during spring and autumn; they move quickly and often congregate in large numbers. If crushed, they leave a distinct red stain due to their body pigment.
Risks & Benefits
Harmless to humans and pets, as they do not bite or carry disease. However, they can be a nuisance pest and cause staining on furniture or curtains.
