Bed bug (likely nymph)

Indoor sleeping areas, especially mattress seams, bed frames, upholstery, and cracks near resting places.

Feeds exclusively on blood, primarily from humans, using piercing-sucking mouthparts. It usually feeds at night.

Wingless, flattened, and nocturnal; hides in crevices during daylight and molts through five nymphal stages. Populations can persist for months without feeding.

Not known to transmit disease reliably, but bites can cause itching, allergic reactions, and sleep disruption. They provide no meaningful household benefit and are difficult to eradicate.
