Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Carnivorous, capturing flies, moths, mosquitoes, and other flying insects in sticky silk. It immobilizes prey with venom and consumes liquefied tissues.
Behavior Patterns
Mostly nocturnal or crepuscular; many species rebuild or repair webs regularly and remain at the hub or nearby retreat. Adults mate seasonally, and females produce silk egg sacs.
