Natural Habitat

Dark, damp, and undisturbed locations such as basements, crawl spaces, cellars, wall voids, and behind debris.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivorous; feeds on insects, mosquitoes, flies, and other spiders (including potentially dangerous species like Hobo spiders or Redbacks).

Behavior Patterns

They build messy, irregular tangled webs (cobwebs) in corners. When threatened, they often vibrate rapidly in their web to become a blur, making them harder to catch.
