Small cockroach nymph (likely German cockroach)

Warm, humid indoor areas, especially kitchens, bathrooms, wall voids, and around plumbing or appliances.

Omnivorous scavengers feeding on crumbs, grease, starches, pet food, organic debris, and occasionally nonfood materials.

Mostly nocturnal, fast-moving, and secretive; they hide in cracks by day and reproduce rapidly indoors. Nymphs lack fully developed wings and mature through several molts.

Can contaminate food and surfaces and spread allergens associated with asthma and allergic reactions. They provide little household benefit, though they recycle organic matter outdoors.
