Natural Habitat
Warm, dry indoor areas such as walls, ceilings, cabinets, and furniture; unlike many cockroaches, it does not require high humidity.

Omnivorous scavengers feeding on crumbs, starches, grease, dead insects, glue, and other organic debris.
Behavior Patterns
Primarily nocturnal and fast-moving, hiding in cracks by day. Females attach egg cases to sheltered surfaces; infestations can spread through furniture and electronics.
Risks & Benefits
Can contaminate food and surfaces and may contribute to allergy or asthma symptoms. It has little meaningful ecosystem benefit indoors.
