Natural Habitat
Indoors, especially dark, warm, humid areas such as cupboards, attics, pantries, and wall voids; also found in bird or rodent nests.
Diet & Feeding
Larvae feed on dried plant and animal materials, including wool, feathers, hair, grain, seeds, and moldy organic debris. Adults generally do not feed or consume only liquids.
