Natural Habitat

Omnivorous scavenger that feeds on decaying organic matter, garbage, starches, and animal remains.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and relatively slow-moving compared to other roach species. They prefer moist environments and often enter buildings through pipes or under doors.
Risks & Benefits
Risk: Can carry pathogens and spread bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella; they also produce allergens. Benefit: In nature, they act as important decomposers, recycling organic nutrients back into the soil.
