Behavior Patterns
Mostly nocturnal, fast-moving, and secretive; they hide in cracks by day and reproduce rapidly. Nymphs lack fully developed wings and mature through several molts.
Risks & Benefits
Can contaminate food and surfaces and spread allergens associated with asthma and dermatitis. They provide little household benefit, though they recycle organic matter outdoors.
