Indoors in dry, sheltered places such as attics, closets, and wall voids; also occurs outdoors beneath bark and debris.

A predator that feeds on bedbugs and other small insects, piercing them with its beak and sucking out their contents.

Nymphs camouflage themselves with dust and lint. They are mostly nocturnal and hide in cracks during the day.

Can deliver a painful bite if handled, but is not known to transmit disease. It may help control household insect pests.
