Active during spring and summer; undergoes incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult). Known for aggregating in large numbers on buildings during autumn to overwinter

Invasive agricultural pest that can cause significant damage to crops. Emits a pungent odor when threatened or crushed. Harmless to humans but a major household nuisance
