Casemaking Clothes Moth (Larva)

Dark, undisturbed areas in buildings, such as closets, under furniture, or rugs.

Natural fibers of animal origin including wool, fur, feathers, hair, and silk.

The larva constructs a silken tube or 'case' incorporating fibers of its food source, which it carries while feeding; it pupates inside this case.

Pest that destroys clothing, blankets, and upholstery; no benefit to humans or indoor environments.
