Jagged ambush bug (likely)

Vegetation, flowers, and sunlit woodland edges, meadows, and gardens. They often perch motionless on stems or blossoms.

A predatory true bug that ambushes bees, flies, butterflies, and other insects. It pierces prey with a sucking beak and consumes the internal fluids.

Cryptic, slow-moving, and well camouflaged; enlarged, irregular forelegs help seize prey. Adults commonly hunt from flowers and may remain still for long periods.
