Likely booklouse (psocid)

Warm, humid indoor areas, especially wood surfaces, stored materials, books, and furniture where microscopic mold is present.

Feeds mainly on mold, fungi, algae, starches, and organic residue; it does not bite people or damage sound wood.

Usually crawls slowly in cracks and concealed surfaces, thriving in high humidity. Populations can increase rapidly in damp conditions, with some species reproducing without males.

Harmless to humans, pets, and structural wood; occasional nuisance infestations indicate excess moisture. They help consume microscopic fungi and organic debris.
