Brown-banded cockroach (likely)

Warm, dry indoor areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets, and furniture; unlike many cockroaches, it does not require high humidity.

Omnivorous scavengers that eat crumbs, starches, sweets, grease, dead insects, and various household materials.

Mostly nocturnal and fast-moving, hiding in cracks and elevated spaces during the day. Females glue egg cases to sheltered surfaces; populations can reproduce indoors year-round.

Can contaminate food and surfaces and may contribute to allergies or asthma through shed skins and droppings. It provides minor food for predators but is generally considered a household pest.
