Carpet beetle larva (likely)

Indoors in carpets, closets, upholstered furniture, and other places containing lint or animal-derived materials.

Larvae feed on wool, fur, feathers, hair, dead insects, and other keratin-containing debris; adults mainly feed on pollen outdoors.

Larvae are slow-moving and often hide in dark, undisturbed areas. The photo is too small for a certain identification; this may instead be another tiny household beetle.

Larvae can damage natural-fiber textiles. Their hairs may irritate skin, but they do not bite or transmit disease.
