Masked Hunter (Nymph)

Found indoors in homes and outbuildings, often in dusty areas like basements or attics.

Predatory; feeds on small arthropods such as bed bugs, lacewings, earwigs, and flies.

The nymphs camouflage themselves by coating their bodies with sticky secretions that trap dust, lint, and sand. They are nocturnal hunters.

Beneficial as they hunt household pests like bed bugs; however, they can deliver a painful bite to humans if handled or threatened.
