Plaster Bagworm

Commonly found inside residential homes, attached to walls, under furniture, and in garages.

Larvae feed on spider webs, wool, human hair, fur, and silk.

The larva constructs a silken case covered in sand or dust and can protrude its head from either end to feed.

Harmless to humans but can be considered a minor household pest if they eat textiles or accumulate in large numbers.
