Booklouse

Damp, warm environments with high humidity, often found in books, pantries, or under wallpaper.

Feeds on microscopic mold, fungi, starches, and organic glues found in book bindings or food packaging.

Mostly active in dark, humid areas; they do not fly and move in quick, jerky bursts.

Harmless to humans and pets as they do not bite or spread disease, but can be a nuisance and cause minor damage to stored paper or food products.
