Plaster Bagworm

Found inside houses, typically on walls, floors, and under furniture in humid climates.

Larvae feed on spider webs, wool, hair, and organic detritus.

The larvae live inside a protective, flattened silk case covered in sand or dust. They can turn around inside the case and feed from either end.

Harmless to humans but can occasionally damage natural fiber clothing or silk fabrics; they help clean up spider webs and household lint.
