Plaster Bagworm (Case-bearing Moth Larva)

Found inside houses, frequently on walls or floors in humid environments.

Larvae feed on spider webs, lint, wool, and other natural fibers.

The larva constructs a protective silk case covered in debris (like dust and sand) which it carries with it as it moves.

Generally harmless to humans but can occasionally damage wool or fine fabric. Helps clean up spider webs indoors.
