Likely cigarette beetle

Stored-food areas, pantries, warehouses, and tobacco products; adults may wander indoors.

Larvae feed on dried plant materials, including tobacco, spices, grains, herbs, and pet food. Adults generally do not feed or consume little.

Small, reddish-brown, oval beetles; adults can retract the head and often fly toward lights. Females lay eggs in stored products, where larvae develop and pupate.

Not dangerous to people and do not bite, but infest and contaminate stored foods and tobacco. They have no notable household benefit.
