Nocturnal and highly gregarious, often found in clusters; they undergo hemimetabolous metamorphosis and reproduce faster than any other residential cockroach.
Risks & Benefits
Major residential pest that can spread pathogens (Salmonella, E. coli), trigger allergies, and worsen asthma; it has no significant benefits to the urban ecosystem.
