Cigarette Beetle

Commonly found in pantries, kitchens, and commercial warehouses where dried plant products are stored.

Feeds on a wide range of dried organic substances including tobacco, cereals, pasta, spices, nuts, seeds, and dried flowers.

Adults are strong fliers and are most active in low light. Their life cycle takes about 26 to 90 days depending on temperature and food quality.

A significant economic pest that contaminates and destroys food supplies; however, they pose no direct physical harm or disease risk to humans or pets.
