Feeds on the blood of humans and other warm-blooded animals, usually at night.

Flattened, wingless insects that hide by day and emerge to feed; they reproduce indoors and can spread in luggage or furniture.

Bites can cause itchy skin reactions and infestations are difficult to eliminate; they are not known to transmit disease.
