Carpet beetle larva (likely)

Indoors, especially closets, carpets, upholstered furniture, and stored natural-fiber items.

Larvae feed on wool, fur, feathers, hair, dead insects, and other animal-derived materials; adults mainly feed on pollen and nectar.

Larvae are slow-moving and covered in bristles; they hide in dark undisturbed areas and leave shed skins. The image is too indistinct for a definitive identification.

Larvae can damage clothing and furnishings, and their hairs may irritate skin. They do not bite or transmit disease.
