Household Casebearer (Plaster Bagworm)

Typically found inside houses, on walls, or under furniture in humid climates.

Larvae feed on spider webs, wool, hair, and dead insects.

The larva constructs a protective silk case covered in sand or debris and carries it while feeding. It can emerge from either end of the case.

Harmless to humans; considered a minor domestic pest for its potential to eat certain natural fabrics or accumulate on walls.
