Drugstore beetle (likely)

Dry stored-food areas, pantries, cupboards, bakeries, and bird or rodent nests. Adults often wander away from infested materials toward light.

Larvae feed on dry foods and plant products, including flour, bread, spices, cereals, pet food, dried herbs, and pharmaceuticals. Adults generally do not feed or consume very little.

Females lay eggs in cracks or food packages; larvae develop concealed inside products and pupate there. The complete life cycle commonly takes several weeks to months, depending on temperature and food quality.

They are harmless to people and do not bite or transmit disease, but infest and contaminate stored foods and materials. They have little direct ecological benefit indoors, though larvae serve as prey in natural habitats.
