Bed Bug

Found worldwide in human dwellings, particularly in cracks and crevices of mattresses, bed frames, furniture, and baseboards.

Exclusively feeds on the blood of humans and other warm-blooded animals.

Nocturnal pests that emerge at night to feed, hiding in dark, secluded places during the day. They go through five nymphal stages before reaching adulthood.

Risks include painful bites causing allergic reactions, itching, secondary skin infections, and significant psychological stress or sleep disturbance. They provide no known ecological benefits to humans.
