Behavior Patterns

Larvae frequently camouflage themselves by carrying the husks of their prey and other debris on their backs to hide from predators. They are highly active and aggressive hunters.

Risks & Benefits

Extremely beneficial to ecosystems and agriculture as a natural pest control agent. They may occasionally nip at human skin if handled, but they are not venomous or harmful to people.
