Brown Marmorated Stink Bug

Found in agricultural fields, orchards, gardens, and often inside human dwellings and buildings during cold weather for overwintering.

Polyphagous herbivore; feeds on a wide variety of plants including fruits (apples, peaches, pears), vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, corn), and ornamental plants.

Known for releasing a pungent odor when disturbed or crushed. In autumn, they seek shelter in masses inside houses. They go through five nymphal stages before reaching adulthood.
