Kudzu Bug

Agricultural fields, particularly soybean and kudzu patches; often found on exterior walls of buildings during autumn.

Piercing-sucking mouthparts used to feed on the sap of legumes, especially kudzu and soybeans.

They are known for 'overwintering' behavior where they seek warmth in white or light-colored structures during cool weather. They aggregate in large numbers.
