Bed Bug Excrement/Spotting

Found in cracks and crevices, mattress seams, bed frames, and behind baseboards in human dwellings.

Digested human blood; these spots are the fecal remains of the bed bug after a blood meal.

Spots are often found in clusters near the bugs' hiding places or 'harborages.' They appear as dark or rusty-colored smears on fabric and surfaces.

Indicates an active or past bed bug infestation. Bed bug bites can cause allergic reactions, skin rashes, and psychological distress, but they are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
