Bold Jumping Spider

Grasslands, gardens, and backyards. Often found on external walls and deck furniture.

Carnivorous. Primarily eats insects and other spiders.

Diurnal hunter known for excellent vision and jumping ability. Does not build webs to catch food.

Beneficial predator that controls outdoor pests. Rarely bites humans unless handled roughly; bites are typically harmless.
