Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Carnivorous nocturnal hunter; feeds on insects, small agricultural pests, and other small spiders. They actively hunt rather than capturing prey in webs.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal active foragers. Instead of building flat capture webs, they construct small, tube-like silk retreats or sacs where they rest during the day and lay eggs.
Risks & Benefits
Benefits: Excellent natural pest control for homes and gardens. Risks: Venomous bite that can cause localized pain, swelling, and redness similar to a bee sting, but generally medically harmless unless a rare secondary infection occurs.
