Found in terrestrial environments such as gardens, fields, and forests on trees and shrubs.

Carnivorous predator of other insects including caterpillars, beetles, and common garden pests.

Ambush hunters that use a curved proboscis to inject enzymes into prey. Nymphs have orange/red abdomens that they often hold tilted upward.

Extremely beneficial for natural pest control in gardens, but can deliver a very painful bite if handled or provoked.
