Carpet beetle larva

Found indoors in dark, undisturbed areas such as carpets, closets, and baseboards.

Feeds on natural fibers like wool, silk, fur, leather, and accumulated pet hair.

Larva actively avoids light, crawls slowly, and molts multiple times before pupating into a small oval beetle.

Causes significant structural damage to textiles, rugs, and stored clothing. They do not bite humans or transmit diseases.
