Indianmeal Moth Larva

Pantropical and found worldwide in indoor food storage areas, pantries, and grain processing facilities.

Stored food products including flour, cereals, grains, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, and birdseed.

Larvae spin silken webs over food surfaces while feeding, often leaving behind fecal pellets and silk trails. They may crawl up walls to pupate in corners.

Major economic pest of stored goods. While they do not pose direct health risks via stinging or biting, they contaminate food supplies and can cause significant food waste.
