Pierces plant cells and sucks sap, causing stippling, yellowing, and sometimes fine webbing.
Behavior Patterns
Rapidly reproduces in warm, dry conditions; eggs and nymphs develop on leaf undersides, and adults can disperse by wind or plant contact.
Risks & Benefits
Harmless to people and pets, but damaging to plants when abundant. Predatory mites and other beneficial arthropods help control populations.
