Carnivorous. Feeds on spiders, bed bugs, termites, silverfish, cockroaches, and other household pests.

Nocturnal hunters capable of moving very quickly. They use venom-injected forceps to subdue prey and spend daylight hours hiding in dark crevices.

Benefits include acting as a natural pest control by eating common household pests. Risks to humans are minimal, as they rarely bite, and if they do, it is usually harmless and causes mild irritation similar to a bee sting.
