Yellow Sac Spider

Commonly found indoors on walls and ceilings, and outdoors in gardens, bushes, and under leaf litter.

Carnivorous; hunts small insects and other spiders, often active at night.

Nocturnal hunters that do not build webs to catch prey. Instead, they build small silk 'sac' retreats for resting during the day or for egg laying.

Benefits the ecosystem by controlling pest populations. Their bite can be painful (similar to a bee sting) and may cause localized swelling, but it is generally not medically significant for most humans.
