Zebra Jumping Spider

Urban and suburban environments, often found on external walls, window sills, and fences where sun shines.

Carnivorous; hunts small insects and other spiders by pouncing on them from a distance.

Diurnal hunters with excellent vision. They do not build webs for catching prey, but rather use silk as a safety tether when jumping.

Generally harmless to humans; they are beneficial to the ecosystem as they provide natural pest control for smaller insects.
