Known for a slow, clumsy flight and emits a pungent odor when disturbed or crushed. Hibernates as an adult.

Risks & Benefits

Harmless to humans as they do not bite or sting, though can be a nuisance pest in homes. No significant ecosystem benefit other than being a food source for predators.
