Masked Hunter Nymph

Carnivorous; it preys on other small arthropods including bed bugs, carpet beetles, termites, and flies by piercing them with its proboscis.

The nymphal stage is known for camouflaging itself by covering its body with dust, lint, and debris using sticky secretions. It is primarily nocturnal and moves with a jerking motion.

Benefits humans by acting as a natural pest control for bed bugs and other household insects. However, it can deliver a very painful bite if handled or provoked, though it does not transmit diseases.
