Kudzu Bug

Found on legume crops, kudzu vines, and invading residential structures in autumn.

Feeds on plant sap using piercing-sucking mouthparts, primarily targeting leguminous plants.

Gathers in massive numbers on exterior walls before overwintering indoors. Releases a foul-smelling defensive fluid when disturbed.

Major agricultural pest reducing soybean yields. Harmless to humans and pets, though a nuisance invader of homes.
