Behavior Patterns
Strictly nocturnal parasites that hide in dark cracks and crevices during the day. Nymphs require a blood meal to progress through each of their five developmental stages before reaching maturity.
Risks & Benefits
Risks: Causes itchy, red bite marks, allergic reactions, secondary skin infections from scratching, sleep deprivation, and psychological stress. They are notorious indoor pests that are difficult to eradicate. Benefits: None to humans or indoor environments.
