Likely adult drain fly (moth fly)

Bathrooms and other damp areas, especially drains, where larvae develop in organic slime.

Larvae feed on microbes and decaying organic matter in drain biofilm; adults feed little or not at all.

Adults are small, weak fliers and often rest on bathroom surfaces near drains. Larvae develop in wet, organically fouled plumbing.

Harmless to people and do not bite; large numbers can be a nuisance and may indicate buildup in a drain.
