Indoors, especially kitchens and food-storage areas; larvae develop in stored dry foods.

Larvae feed on grains, flour, nuts, dried fruit, and other stored foods; adults generally do not feed.

Adults are small, nocturnal moths that may flutter near lights. Larvae produce silk webbing in infested food; the photo is too unclear for a certain species identification.

Harmless to people, but larvae can contaminate and damage stored food; no notable ecological benefit indoors.
