House Spider / Wall Spider

Indoors on walls, ceilings, furniture, or outdoors on tree bark, rocks, and foliage

Carnivorous; feeds on small insects such as flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and ants

Solitary arachnid that wanders or spins small flat webs to capture small pests. Generally shy, active mainly at night or during quiet periods, and retreats when disturbed.
